Manicure – A little TLC for your hands! This service includes a hand soak, moisturising salt scrub, hand mask, cuticle tidy & file and finishes off with luxurious moisturising hand cream. This service can also include a Gel Polish application, removal or remove & reapplication
Hot Paraffin Wax – A paraffin wax “dip” or “bath” is a soothing treatment in which the hands or feet are submerged in a warm mixture of paraffin, a petroleum-based wax, and mineral oil. This warming treatment soothes aching joints and improves circulation, and the combination of oil and wax softens rough skin. This service can be added onto a manicure or pedicure or booked on its own and is amazing during the winter months or when your skin needs that little bit of love!
Pedicure – Pamper your feet with a pedicure. This service Includes dry skin removal, cuticle work, massage cream and cuticle oil. Gel Polish, removal or remove & reapplication can also be added
Gel Polish – Gel polish can last up to six times longer than a standard polish manicure! Gel polish is instantly dry, super shiny and looks amazing when professionally applied. With morte than 500+ colours to choose from including many, many glitters and art choices i will definitely have the perfect colour for you! This service can be booked as a fresh application, Removal on its own or a removal & reapplication.
Builder In A Bottle– If your nails need that little bit of extra strength or you’re rough with your hands then this may be the perfect addition to your gel polish! 2 layers of stronger brush on builder can be added to a gel polish service to help you get the most out of your beautiful colour.
Acrylic Nails – Acrylic can be applied to the nails in a few different ways. You can add a thin layer to your natural nails for added strength (a lot more than Builder In A Bottle!) and this is called an Acrylic Overlay, you can slightly extend your nails to make them a more desirable length, or you can create long, or even extreme lengths depending on your desired outcome – these are called Acrylic Extensions. Gel Polish is then applied over the filed and shaped acrylic to give the perfect finish.
Acrylic nails require maintenance – this varies depending on your natural nail growth, original length and extended length. Maintenance appointments range between 2-4 weeks. Acrylic must be maintained and removed professionally to prevent unwanted damage to your nails. If acrylic is pulled, bitten or incorrectly removed or not maintained then you may find your nails become damaged and weak – definitely not what we want! Its always advisable to make sure you book 1 or 2 maintenance appointments in advance to make sure you look after your beautiful new nails.
Hard gel is applied to the nail straight from the pot (no mix ratio required) and each layer is cured under a UV or LED light. The curing process, called polymerization, creates a strong, compact polymer that solvents can’t penetrate-which means hard gel can only be removed by filing. After curing, a tacky film of uncured gel, called the inhibition layer, is left and must be removed with nail cleanser.
Gel-X Tips – Gel-X Tips is the worlds first soft gel nail extension system. Gel-X tips and extend gel are manufactured from soft gel formulas and are applied as a full cover tip to your natural nails for added strength or additional length as extensions.
Apres Gel-X tips have more flexibility than acrylic and are a lot thinner in appearance. These nails are a perfect option for those want longer nails with flexibility or for those who have found that acrylic isn’t suitable for their nail beds. Apres Gel-x nail tips are designed to be worn and then soaked off after around 3-4 weeks. I have had success in extending the life of these extensions by infilling with a brush on builder gel, however this isn’t recommended more than once as the structure can be lost.
Gel polish can be applied over the top of your Apres Gel-X for the same shiny durable finish.
IBX is a natural nail strengthening system made to Toughen, Repair and Protect the natural nail.IBX is HEMA Free,IBX is the first treatment of its kind, IBX works INSIDE the nail not on top. IBX is penetrated into the upper layers of the nail and cross-links inside the nail to itself creating an Interpenetrating Polymer Network.
Well I wouldn’t be a nail artist if I didn’t offer a lot of different nail art choices! There are so many options to choose from I probably couldn’t list them all! I can do all the basic nail art including marble designs, chrome powder finish, transfers & decals, stamping designs, airbrushing, ombre, french finish, 3D/4D hand made flowers and bows, crystals, hand drawn designs & foils.
Nail art is always evolving and new techniques pop up all the time! I like to keep up with the latest trends and if I cant teach myself, then I’ll invest in a course!
I am always happy to create a bespoke design based on an outfit or occasion too so feel free to contact me if there is something specific you’d like to have.

At Nails by Griselda, every appointment is designed to provide a calm, personalised and high-quality experience.
To ensure smooth operation and fairness to all clients, the following policies apply to all bookings.
Booking an appointment confirms acceptance of these terms.
Securing Your Appointment
To reserve an appointment, a non-refundable booking fee is required.
The booking fee must be paid in order to secure your appointment.
Your appointment is confirmed once the booking fee has been received.
What the Booking Fee Covers
The booking fee is not a deposit towards the service, but a non-refundable booking administration fee.
It covers the operational costs created the moment an appointment is reserved, including:
Remaining Service Balance
The remaining balance relates to the service itself, including professional time, expertise and materials.
If an appointment is cancelled at short notice or missed entirely, the studio is often unable to refill the time slot due to the private 1:1 appointment structure.
In these situations, the remaining balance may become payable as a reasonable estimate of the loss caused by the reserved appointment time.
Consultation & Client Forms
All new clients are required to complete a consultation form upon their first visit.
This form helps ensure treatments are performed safely and professionally.
Consultation forms are updated once per year to ensure client information remains accurate.

Arrival Time
Appointments are carefully scheduled to allow every client a full, unhurried service.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If the appointment must be shortened due to late arrival, the full service fee still applies, as the time has been reserved exclusively.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Due to high demand and limited availability, we operate a 48-hour cancellation policy.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
Rescheduling is possible within the required notice period.
No-shows or missed appointments may result in the inability to book future appointments.

A reference photo is always helpful.
This allows sufficient time to be allocated and avoids delays during your appointment.
Freestyle designs are welcome but must be requested at the time of booking.

Evening & Out-of-Hours Appointments
A limited number of evening appointments may be available outside standard working hours upon request.
As these appointments extend beyond regular salon hours,
a convenience fee applies.
Evening Appointment Fees

Appointments starting after 19:30 — £35
This fee applies to the entire appointment, not per hour.
Evening appointments are limited and subject to availability.
Bank Holidays
Appointments requested on Bank Holidays will incur an additional £25 convenience fee.
Important
Appointments outside standard working hours are designed to accommodate clients who are unable to attend during normal hours.
Where possible, clients are encouraged to book within standard working hours.
Liability
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during their visit.
Nails by Griselda cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.
