Salon Policies & Client Care Guidelines
At Nails by Griselda, every appointment is designed to provide a calm, personalised and high-quality experience.
To ensure smooth operation and fairness to all clients, the following policies apply to all bookings.
Booking an appointment confirms acceptance of these terms.
Securing Your Appointment
To reserve an appointment, a non-refundable booking fee is required.
The booking fee must be paid in order to secure your appointment.
Your appointment is confirmed once the booking fee has been received.
What the Booking Fee Covers
The booking fee is not a deposit towards the service, but a non-refundable booking administration fee.
It covers the operational costs created the moment an appointment is reserved, including:
Remaining Service Balance
The remaining balance relates to the service itself, including professional time, expertise and materials.
If an appointment is cancelled at short notice or missed entirely, the studio is often unable to refill the time slot due to the private 1:1 appointment structure.
In these situations, the remaining balance may become payable as a reasonable estimate of the loss caused by the reserved appointment time.
Consultation & Client Forms
All new clients are required to complete a consultation form upon their first visit.
This form helps ensure treatments are performed safely and professionally.
Consultation forms are updated once per year to ensure client information remains accurate.
Salon Environment
To maintain a calm and professional environment:
Arrival Time
Appointments are carefully scheduled to allow every client a full, unhurried service.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If the appointment must be shortened due to late arrival, the full service fee still applies, as the time has been reserved exclusively.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Due to high demand and limited availability, we operate a 48-hour cancellation policy.
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
Rescheduling is possible within the required notice period.
No-shows or missed appointments may result in the inability to book future appointments.
Nail Art Bookings
If you wish to have nail art, please select the nail art option when booking on EXTRAS section.

A reference photo is always helpful.
This allows sufficient time to be allocated and avoids delays during your appointment.
Freestyle designs are welcome but must be requested at the time of booking.
Nail Preparation
Clients must arrive with bare nails unless removal has been booked.
This means:
Repair Policy
We operate a 72hour repair policy.

Repairs considered reasonable will be carried out free of charge within 72hours.
Repairs requested after this period will incur a charge.
Aftercare
Your nails are jewels, not tools.
To maintain the longevity of your manicure:
Respect & Professional Conduct
We are committed to providing a respectful and professional environment.
Any form of rudeness, disrespect or inappropriate behaviour towards the Nails by Griselda team will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services in such situations.

Monday — Closed
Tuesday — 10:00 – 18:00
Wednesday — 10:00 – 18:00
Thursday — 10:00 – 18:00
Friday — 10:00 – 18:00
Saturday — 10:00 – 16:00
Sunday — Closed
The last appointment starts at 16:00 / 16:30 depending on the service booked
Evening & Out-of-Hours Appointments
A limited number of evening appointments may be available outside standard working hours upon request.
As these appointments extend beyond regular salon hours,
a convenience fee applies.
Evening Appointment Fees
Appointments starting after 18:00 — £25
Appointments starting after 19:30 — £35
This fee applies to the entire appointment, not per hour.
Evening appointments are limited and subject to availability.
Bank Holidays
Appointments requested on Bank Holidays will incur an additional £25 convenience fee.
Important
Appointments outside standard working hours are designed to accommodate clients who are unable to attend during normal hours.
Where possible, clients are encouraged to book within standard working hours.
Liability
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings during their visit.
Nails by Griselda cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment with Nails by Griselda, clients confirm that they have read, understood and accepted these policies.
•Even the Covid 19 restrictions are lifted please I need you to wear a mask if you are not exempt. If you don’t have one, I will give you one for FREE. Everyone will be asked to wash and sanitize their hands before the appointment. (sanitizer provided)
•If you’re feeling ill please cancel your appointment and reschedule.
